Radiology Tech Asst./Billing

Description: Vaughan Regional Medical Center is currently interviewing Radiology Tech Asst./Billing right now, this job will be assigned in Alabama. For complete informations about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Greets customers and verifies procedure or test. Keeps patients informed of any delay in treatment. Transports patient to and from the Radiology Department via w! heelchair, stretcher, and /or bed. Escorts parents/ guardians or other adults that may carry pediatric patients in arms, to and from the Radiology department. Accesses reports, files, and films. Creates jackets for films. Files jackets and final reports. Assist techs when needed.
Education: High School graduate or equivalent
Experience: Prior Work Experience preferred
Skills: Clerical / Computer skills. Proper telephone etiquette. Communicates effectively with others.
Physical Requirements : Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods, walk at least 6 hours per day, lift /carry 50 pounds, hear alarms and telephone rings, distinguish colors, perform repetitive tasks/motions, have good eye/hand/foot coordination, and have clear vision at 20 or more feet with or without vision corrective device.
