Position Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Alabama is required for approval and for subsequent renewal of approval. Master’s prepared or higher degree in nursing and graduation from a nurse practitioner educational program. Certification as a nurse practitioner in the appropriate area of practice from a national certifying body recognized by the Alabama Board of Nursing. Three (3) years nursing experience in Pediatrics.
Must: (1) enter 4,000 keystrokes per hour; (2) possess basic knowledge of PC applications, software, and database management.
Preferred: Three to Five years in Orthopaedics and/ or Pediatric patients.
LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Required: Current Alabama CRNP license. Current CPR certificatio! n required or must be obtained within the first 30 days of emp! loyment
