Description: ProCare Therapy is looking of Alabama school~sign language interpreter job open! right now, this career will be placed in Alabama. For detail informations about this career opportunity please read the description below. Sign language interpreters needed in our school in Alabama. We are partnering with a great district to provide them with a qualified SLI. The ideal ! candidate will have experience with the pediatric population, an Education Interpretation license, and be available for full time for the current school year! You will work with one student in the 9th grade.
School sign language interpreter jobs are available directly with school districts and staffing agencies. Interpreters who are self-employed, as nearly 22% of them are, may be able to land a school interpreter job as well. The typical work week follows that of a traditional school schedule, usually from 8 AM to 3 PM Monday through Friday. Some additional work may be required while school is not in session, but this is not enough to drastically deviate from a standard 40 hour work week. The position is not too stressful, though depending on the age of the student and complexity of the conversation, it may have its share of difficulties.
