Description: UA Health Services Foundation (UAHSF/TKC) is at present looking to employ Programmer/Analyst I right now, this career will be assigned in Alabama. Under limited supervision and within the Financial Information Systems provide support for the design, development, support, documentation, testing, and im! plementation of custom programs, interfaces, and reports for UAHSF and UAB Hospital Lawson/Infor systems. Assist the implementation, testing, and training of users during Lawson/Infor upgrades. Provide technical and administrative support to the FIS team.
Position Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: BS Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or related field required (directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements). Some programming experience with Microsoft Office products required. Experience in system design and analysis is strongly preferred.
Preferred: Have a working knowledge of one or more high level programming languages, understanding of computer hardware and software principles, and a proven ability to interface effectively with users. Knowledge of JavaScript, or experience with any Lawson/Infor products including 4GL, Process Flow Automation, and/or Smart Off! ice preferred.
