Riverview Regional Medical Center is a 281-bed, acute-care facility
located in Gadsden, Alabama. Founded in 1926, it serves a population
base of 350,000 and is the fourth largest employer in Etowah County with
more than 850 associates. Riverview Regional was rated one of the Top
100 Hospitals in America by Solucient in 1998. With more than 200
physicians on staff, the hospital offers a full array of services,
including an open-heart program and daVinci Robotics program. The
hospital also offers a freestanding endoscopy center, wound care center,
occupational medicine center and imaging center.
