As a key member of our Office of Compliance Services, you will help advance our culture of trust while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. In this role, you will provide assistance in monitoring, reviewing, and advising on federal and state regulations affecting UCLA Health’s compliance, operations, and transactions. Primary duties include: • Serve as a resource for clients to answer compliance questions • Prepare guidance documents, monitoring tools, and other resources for the OCS and its clients • Support the OCS with reviews and investigations • Assist with reviewing existing compliance policies/procedures and drafting new policies/procedures • Support the development and enhancement of compliance program initiatives • Supporting risk assessment and risk plan development Salary range: $76,900.00 - 150,900.00/year
We’re seeking an independent, detail-oriented professional with: • 3 years’ experience in healthcare compliance (e.g. assisting with compliance incidents and investigations, gathering documentation for cases, drafting investigation reports) • Knowledge of federal and state statutes, laws, rules, and regulations affecting privacy practices • Understanding of the essential elements of an effective compliance program • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office • Certification as CHC, CHPC, CIPP or CIPP/G preferred
