Position : Administrative Assistant I
Location : Los Angeles CA 90089
Duration : 2-3 months contract (Possible Extension)
Shift : 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Parking/Cost : Paid parking or Street Parking available

Job Description:

o Must be Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for interacting with faculty and demonstrate attention to detail. Must know excel and word programs as well as Powerpoint.

o Answer in-person, telephone and online inquiries.

o Manage the Faculty Lounge and Staff Lounge Inventories and Supplies.

o Schedule and coordinate meetings and events for the Academic Operations team.

o Make room reservations, set-up conference calls, and make parking reservations. Post events on webpage.

o Create flyer if necessary.

o Be able to draft business correspondence.

o Coordinate and preparation for material distributions for committee and meetings

o Arrange with vendors for services

o Coordinate Travel arrangements for speakers

o Assist with other daily Academic Operations responsibilities

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Experience:

  • Administrative: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Law office: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
