Bacio di Latte is a high-end experience gelato shop, making fresh gelato every day. Established in 2011, Our gelato reflects the passion and care that we take in making the best product possible. Our staff goes beyond the traditional expectation of customer service, by trying to create unique and intimate moments with our guests. We are quickly expanding and are looking for exceptional talent to help our company grow. Please note requested skills are not a requirement. Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- To ensure that all products are within their expiration dates and the labels filled out with the correct dates and the names of those responsible for filling them out;
- To ensure the standard of quality of the recipes and avoid wasting ingredients and raw materials;
- To instruct the Assistant Gelato Pro's in the operational and administrative tasks (system, stock and product validity control);
- To train new employees, according to standard procedure;
- To notify the General Manager of maintenance problems with the machines, in order to make arrangements for the necessary adjustments;
- Assist with the Customer Service, should the need arise, and be capable of doing so;
- To look after the equipment and the work area, according to the standard procedures for conservation and cleanliness;
- To cooperate with colleagues whenever necessary;
- Ensure all food safety procedures are being maintained at all times
- Accept and audit all deliveries with the General Manager
- Assist the General Manager with ordering raw materials
- To maintain and clean all kitchen equipment and utensils.
- To abide by all the rules in the Employee Manual.
Qualifications/Skills:
- 1+ years of quick service kitchen preferred
- High school diploma or higher
- Heavy lifting required (up to 50 lbs)
- Reliable, punctual, and a self-starter
- Able to memorize processes and learn quickly
- Able to multi-task at a high level
- Able to work quickly and maintain deadlines
- 18 years or older
- MUST be able to work weekends and holidays
