Intro
We are searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join us in developing the next-generation, AI-powered architecture design product. Our teams work on everything from complex 3D drawing on the web to building machine-learning-based real-time analyses. Your contributions will have a direct impact on shaping our offering. It will enable our users to discover smart, sustainable solutions and gain valuable insights in their projects.
About us
We are on a mission to help design better cities. According to the UN (United Nations), more than 90% of future population growth will happen in cities. The construction industry is responsible for 40% of global CO2 emissions. To combat climate change the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry need to change the way they work. Our tool represents a new generation software tools enabling this change.
We are building software to help architects, urban planners, and real estate developers find the smartest and most sustainable ways to unlock the potential of their projects. We focus on enabling outcome-based design through assessing living quality (sun, daylight, noise, e.al), environmental impact (embodied and operational carbon), and profitability of our users' projects.
Our journey started as the Norwegian start-up Spacemaker. Spacemaker got acquired by Autodesk in 2020. Together we are building the next generation cloud-based, connected platform for the AEC industry. This is an inspiring journey you do not want to miss!

Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing product features that shape the way our users do their work. You will find yourself working with a wide range of technologies, including web-based 3D frameworks, large-scale systems, and cloud computing. As a Senior Software Engineer, we expect you to follow the servant leadership guiding principles and share your knowledge and expertise with other engineers.

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on discretionary annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock or long-term incentive cash grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
