Responsible for all aspects of phlebotomy processing, including sample collection, processing and computer data entry as required. Responsible to admi! nister oral glucose beverages for glucose tolerance testing. Demonstrates collection competency within all age groups neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Performs duties in support of the goals and objectives of Stringfellow Memorial Hospital in its efforts to provide quality patient care and patient satisfaction. Works under the direct supervision of the Director, Laboratory Services.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Phlebotomy certification or certification eligible required. Previous experience preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills required. Excellent patient service aptitude required. Ability to communicate with patients at all age levels a must.
