Description
Charge Nurse performs functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients during shift. Charge Nurse is responsible for managing all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment for the assigned shift and for promotion of collaboration with all members of health care team. Charge Nurse contributes to performance appraisals of personnel on assigned shift and perf! orms management duties in absence of Nurse Manager.

Qualifications
Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's degree in nursing or other health related field preferred.
Experience:
Two years of nursing experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
Currently licensed in the State of Alabama.
Basic Life Support (BLS).
