The RN plans and delegates care based on patient needs. The RN evaluates the patient's response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:Education:
Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama licensure.
Experience:
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
1. BSN Degree In Nursing. Preferred Neonatal experience/or one year pediatrics/critical care 2. Graduate from a Bachelor Degree of Nursing Program with Current AL RN licensure 3. Effective oral and written communication skills 4. Ability to work within a team to ensure quality care 5. Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills 6. Critical thinking skills and ability to prioritize needs continuously. 7. Computer skills needed.
8. NRP Certification within 6 months or immediately with experience Additional Skill/Abilities: BCLS required within 6 month provisional period.
Additional Information
Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
